Teachers Union Demands Firm Commitment On Pilot-School Program

The Boston Teachers Union yesterday questioned the school board's efforts in opening a pilot school for students with disciplinary problems. The superintendent reportedly has not released any concrete plans for the school. Teachers say the district's failure to follow through on its promise would leave the union hard-pressed to allow other new pilot programs.
