Utah Legislator's Proposed Ritalin Bill Criticized For "Chilling Effect"

A Utah Republican legislator, Rep. Katherine Bryson, has proposed a bill that would charge teachers with misdemeanors if they imply a child should take Ritalin to attend school. The Utah Education Association has criticized the proposed legislation, because it may hamper a teacher's ability to discuss a child's classroom behavior with parents.
