Republican proposes turning screening over to private companies

Rep. John Mica, R-Fla., wants to eliminate government airport screeners and turn screening over to private companies. Mica is the chairman of the House aviation subcommittee and is drafting a bill that would end the TSA's screening responsibilities. Some Democrats oppose the proposal.
