Survey: Women more likely to book travel based on online research

When it comes to making travel purchases based on online research, women buy in higher numbers than men, according to a new survey. The survey found that with airline tickets and car rentals, in particular, women bought more than men, with 64.1% of women being converted from seekers to purchasers with auto rentals, compared with 58.5% of men, and 64.6% of women versus 59% of men who booked airline flights based on research.
