Taster's Choice model wins millions in lawsuit

Russell Cristoff, a 58-year-old California kindergarten teacher, won a judgment of $15.6 million in compensation and punitive damages against Nestle USA because the company used his likeness on jars of Taster's Choice coffee without his consent from 1997 to 2003. An attorney representing Nestle said the company would appeal the verdict.
