New Pittsburgh convention center defines city's new green ethic

Once heavily polluted Pittsburgh has changed its tune and is now home to one of the world's largest eco-friendly buildings -- the new David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The building includes everything from roof skylights and glass walls to produce diffused light, to recycled water in the bathrooms. And it has inspired the city to consider offering developers a "density bonus" for building green projects.
