Subpoena seeks records on contractors with links to Blagojevich

The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority last week received a subpoena seeking records about four contractors. The four companies allegedly have connections to former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was removed from office on Thursday. Blagojevich allegedly collected at least $80,000 in campaign contributions from road construction firms in the last half of 2008, before stricter restrictions became effective on Jan. 1, 2009, according to media reports.
