Ailing sea turtles receive critical care at Boston aquarium

A medical team at the New England Aquarium in Boston helped treat a sea turtle with a kidney ailment by performing a surgical procedure. The turtle is one of many sea reptiles discovered half-dead in Cape Cod Bay in Massachusetts in November, severely injured by especially cold water temperatures. The sea turtles that survived after being taken in by the aquarium reportedly are recovering, having received antibiotics, physical therapy and other state-of-the-art treatments.
