Joint venture is aimed at English-language learners in China

Publisher Pearson PLC and Nokia are collaborating on a wireless-education venture in China called Beijing Mobiledu Technologies -- a service that allows users to learn English with the help of their mobile phones. Since Mobiledu debuted in China in 2007, 20 million people have subscribed, and an average of 1.5 million people are active with the programme each month.
