Obama budget creates $4B national infrastructure fund

President Barack Obama included $4 billion for a national infrastructure fund in his 2011 budget proposal. The Department of Transportation would administer the fund for "high-value" regional and national projects. The 2011 budget to promote safety and increase transportation options would increase by 2.05% to $77.59 billion.
