Stalled ethanol project in Michigan gets foreclosure notice

Liberty Renewable Fuels' unfinished ethanol plant in Michigan's Gratiot County will be sold in a foreclosure sale on March 4. ICM, Liberty's partner and plant designer, hopes to recover more than $15 million in the sheriff's sale. Construction stopped more than two years ago at what would have been Michigan's biggest corn-based ethanol-production facility.
