Construction issues delay opening of $665M Fla. VA hospital

Design errors, possible roof leaks and issues with Brasfield & Gorrie, the general contractor, are delaying completion a 1.2 million-square-foot Veterans Affairs hospital in Florida. The $665 million Lake Nona Medical City complex will have 300 beds and is one of the largest federal projects in Central Florida to date. The steel framework topped out a year ago.
