Flight attendants for Southwest, AirTran approve seniority deal

Southwest Airlines and AirTran Airways flight attendants have approved an agreement for merging their seniority lists. According to union officials, 91% of AirTran attendants and 64% of Southwest attendants voted for the measure. The two airlines merged last year when Southwest acquired AirTran.
