Ted Torbeck, who oversaw Cincinnati Bell Wireless and other units as head of the telecom's Communications Group since 2010, was named last week to succeed Jack Cassidy as the parent company's CEO. Cassidy will become vice chairman. Cincinnati Bell said the changes were part of the carrier's long-term succession plan. "I think the time to go is when you know somebody else can do the job better than you can. And Ted and his team can do the job better than I can," Cassidy said in an interview.
