Ill. governor signs First Informer Act into law

Illinois' First Informer Broadcasters Act, which allows broadcasters and cable operators to get credentials that ensure they have access to their facilities and to fuel for generators during emergencies, was signed into law by Gov. Pat Quinn. Officials said Illinois is the second state, following Nevada, to enact such legislation.
