More employees believe in corporate wellness programs

A Harris Interactive survey of 1,103 employees found that the percentage of workers who believe in the ability of corporate wellness activities to improve health and lower costs rose to 62% last year, from 55% in 2011. Employees who participate in such programs also had positive feedback: 59% say the programs help them be more productive, 51% say they improve motivation and 43% say the programs have lowered the number of days they missed.
