Starbucks growth strategy has many prongs

Starbucks plans to open about 1,300 stores this year, including about 600 in China, with the goal of making China the chain's No. 2 market by 2014. The company is also expecting growth by opening Tazo tea stores and selling more juices and baked goods following its acquisitions of Fresh Evolution and La Boulange.
