Leaders push for free online SAT courses for Georgia students

To boost its seniors' SAT scores, which ranked 49th in the nation last year, Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue and state schools chief Kathy Cox are asking lawmakers to earmark $1 million in the 2006 budget to make an online SAT preparation course available to all students. The free program would enable students to take three full-length practice exams and provide individual score results.
