Study: Drug lessens menopausal symptoms in breast cancer patients

A European study found tibolone helped relieve menopausal symptoms in women taking tamoxifen therapy for breast cancer. Tibolone is a newer hormone that seems to have fewer side effects than conventional hormone replacement therapy, although more trials are needed. Findings appear in the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
