Study: Gay buying power may reach $610 billion this year

U.S. gays, lesbians and bisexuals are expected to spend $610 billion in 2005, a $30 billion increase over last year, according to a joint study by Packaged Facts and Witeck-Combs Communications. "Accurate measures of buying power reflect the dynamic contributions we make as consumers, employees, investors, executives and entrepreneurs," said Justin Nelson, co-founder of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
