Acid leak at Sharp Chemical in Houston contained

Firefighters in Houston said Sunday that they had contained a hydrochloric acid leak at a Sharp Chemical plant. The leak, which resulted in a temporary shelter-in-place order for the area, came from a 10,000-gallon tank inside the business that was believed to be about 25% full when the incident occurred. A quarter-mile area around the building was blocked off as the acid leak created a vapor cloud.
