Fuller tours Garmin's Kansas headquarters

AOPA President Craig Fuller got a sneak peek at some of Garmin's cutting-edge technology during a tour of the company's headquarters in Olathe, Kan., last week. In addition to trying new GPS displays for experimental aircraft, Fuller took the controls of a development simulator featuring Garmin's synthetic vision technology, which uses software to guide pilots through terrain and obstacles.
