NBCT critical of New York pilot program for testing

National Board Certified Teacher and 20-year teaching veteran Brian Crosby is critical of a New York Department of Education pilot program that requires standardized testing of kindergartners. Crosby says testing children that young would be useless, and said standardized testing takes up too much classroom time and dominates much of teachers' professional development.
