Pilot programme in Mexico aims to teach English to all students

Mexico officials have launched a pilot programme that will begin in the fall to teach English to every student in about 5,000 schools. Officials hope the initiative will spread to every school in the country within six years, saying that speaking English is important if Mexico is to compete in the global economy.
