Pre-eclampsia linked to future health problems for women

An analysis of more than 11 million women who gave birth in Denmark showed those who developed pre-eclampsia during pregnancy had a higher risk of future health problems, including high blood pressure, diabetes and blood clots. Researchers also found the risk of hypertension was compounded with each subsequent pregnancy.
