Stimulus package means big government is back

If the massive federal stimulus package passes, it could mean a much larger federal government for many years to come, observers say. The House version of the bill, which includes $30 billion for highway and bridge projects, requires that half the highway funds be allocated within 90 days and the remainder within 180 days. Additional billions are slated for clean water, aviation and rail projects.
