British reporter goes undercover for "ex-gay" therapy expose

Out British reporter Patrick Strudwick details his immersion into so-called "ex-gay therapy" as part of an investigation of the controversial treatment, for which its proponents are trying to gain acceptance from doctors and the National Health Service. "This is despite the fact that homosexuality was removed from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual -- psychiatry's glossary of conditions -- 36 years ago," Strudwick writes. "And despite much evidence that such practices are damaging and ineffective."
