Hershey to sweeten ad budget up to 30% this year

Hershey Co. says it will increase ad spending by 25% to 30% over last year as it seeks to expand chocolate and candy sales in the U.S. President and CEO David J. West said the company was right to consider a bid for Cadbury, even though "it didn't work for us within the framework that we established."
