Republicans say tax on wealthy deters job growth in small businesses:

Congressional Republicans said Tuesday that uncertainty about rising costs from tax- and health-care-reform proposals are keeping small-business owners from hiring. Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine and Rep. Sam Graves of Missouri -- the GOP's highest-ranking members on congressional small-business committees -- issued statements criticizing the administration's plan to increase taxes on the wealthy because of the impact on small-business owners who file tax returns as individuals.
