Youths with cochlear implants report good quality of life

A study done by the Dallas Cochlear Implant Program found children with cochlear implants rated their quality of life as high as those with normal hearing. Researchers said younger children were happier than adolescents but gave their family lives lower scores than did children with normal hearing.
