CN, CP rail networks gear up for export oil shipments

The Canadian National and Canadian Pacific rail systems across Canada and the U.S. are potential resources for crude oil shipments to be exported in Asia. CP's new facility in Saskatchewan is already handling shipments, with NuStar Energy as one of its customers. "[M]oving undiluted heavy Canadian crude by rail to coastal markets is an economically viable solution that brings added value to the end users, as well as the producers in Canada," said NuStar CEO and President CEO Curt Anastasio.
