Handbook aims to aid transition to electronic resources

Education Secretary Arne Duncan and Federal Communications Chairman Julius Genachowski on Wednesday unveiled the 67-page "Digital Textbook Playbook," a handbook for educators on transitioning to electronic resources. The two officials were part of an online town hall event marking the first national Digital Learning Day, when they also challenged all U.S. schools to make digital texts available to students within five years.
