There are more Android users, but Apple wins for ad response

The smartphone market has more Android users than Apple iOS users, but Android users' responses to mobile ads is in decline, whereas click-through rates for Apple devices increased last year. Experts say that's because Apple continually refines its user experience, while the Android platform becomes progressively more diverse, as licensees tweak the interface, creating a less controlled environment.
