Foundation funds "professional renewal" for teachers in Ind.

The Lilly Foundation's Teacher Creativity Fellowship Program provides funding for about 100 teachers in Indiana to participate in "professional renewal" projects. One teacher, Darlene Patterson, used her grant to travel to the Canadian Arctic to teach a four-day workshop. Patterson shares the experience with fellow educators through some of the more than 10,000 photos she took on the trip, with some photos posted in an art exhibit.
