California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said he would happily get involved in the grocery strike negotiations if invited, although a Los Angeles labor group said it invited the governor to weigh in two months ago and received no response. One union leader said he "would welcome" the governor's involvement, but others were skeptical because records show one of the grocery stores involved in the strike donated to his campaign. No one at the three involved grocery chains was available to comment.
