U.S. ad spending projected to rise 5.1%

A TNS Media Intelligence/CMR study predicts that total U.S. ad spending will increase by 5.1% in 2005, for a total expenditure of $150.5 billion. In 2004, total ad spending increased 10.6% from the previous year, due to the fall elections and the Olympics, TNS reported.
