Hilton greets downturn with upswing in new brands

Hilton Hotels isn't letting the economic downturn put a damper on its plans for expansion, according to this article. The chain last week launched its extended-stay Home2 Suites by Hilton brand, and at the ITB show in Berlin next month, the company is expected to unveil a new lifestyle brand developed by one of the creators of Starwood's W brand.
