Honeyshed shopping site shuttered by Publicis

Honeyshed, a high-profile online shopping startup aimed at the 18-to-35 demographic that was pitched as "QVC meets MTV," has been closed after backer Publicis Groupe decided against investing additional funds in the venture. The e-commerce site, a venture from Publicis Groupe, Droga5 and Smuggler, drew some top marketers but reportedly didn't attract enough shoppers.
