Hurricane-damaged roof of Houston stadium to be repaired by March

The retractable roof for Reliant Stadium in Houston will be repaired before the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo arrives in March. Hurricane Ike damaged five giant panels of the roof on Sept. 13 of last year. Each 325-foot panel is constructed from a Teflon-coated fiberglass membrane and has to be lifted into place by a helicopter.
