Along with their power, paychecks and perks, Wall Street's investment bankers have lost their cultural cachet. They have become the target of populist rage, comedy monologues, street protests and insulting T-shirt slogans. "I'd almost rather say I'm a pornographer," said a retired Wall Street executive, who did not want to give his name.
