EPA's renewable-fuel rule draws flak from petrochemical sector

The petrochemical industry is criticizing the Environmental Protection Agency for failing to provide the details of its final rule for updated renewable-fuel standards months ago. "While we are still in the process of reviewing these lengthy and complex regulations, we are concerned that a few key provisions evade sound science and may even be unlawful," said Charles Drevna, president of the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association.
