Ga. considers allowing definition of textbooks to include e-readers

Georgia lawmakers are considering changing the definition of textbook, to include digital reading devices, such as Kindles and iPads. The lawmaker sponsoring the legislation says it will give districts more flexibility to provide classroom resources on limited budgets. Critics say they are concerned about the cost of providing e-readers.
