Aircraft manufacturers from Wichita, Kan., are attending the Singapore Air Show this week. The Asia-Pacific economy has weathered the global economic downturn better than the U.S., so it enjoys a stable general aviation market. However, China's threat of sanctions against the U.S. over policy and trade issues could affect Boeing, which sells about half the aircraft flown by the Chinese.
