Lawsuit links Galleon defendant to earlier insider-trading case

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit against David Slaine, identified in court papers as a former Galleon Group trader. Slaine pleaded guilty in December to federal insider-trading charges for trades he made while working at hedge fund Chelsey Capital in 2002. The suit against Slaine, and his guilty plea, link the Galleon case to an earlier insider-trading case.
