Youths more likely to get dental care if parents do, too

A study in Pediatrics showed 86% of children whose parents saw a dentist during the previous year also had a dental exam compared with 63% of those whose parents didn't get dental care. Of parents who delayed dental care because of the cost, 27% also deferred it for their children.
