4 ways to make returns less painful

Handling returns can be a tricky process, but using a transportation-management system can make it easier, writes Linda Olster of Precision Software. The TMS can be used to let customers know when replacement items are coming and to notify you when a customer has started a return. Most importantly, all that data that's generated can be used to find further efficiencies, Olster writes.
