ACE breaks ground on $76M rail project in Calif.

Ground recently broke for a $75.9 million project in El Monte, Calif. The Alameda Corridor-East Construction Authority will build a four-lane road underpass beneath a Union Pacific double-track railroad bridge. The project is part of ACE's grade separation projects for the development of the 19-mile Alameda Corridor, which is crucial for freight shipments to help spur local and national economic growth, said Rep. Judy Chu, D-Calif.
