Turner nets seek writing talent from The Black List

TNT and TBS will begin working with The Black List, a Web-based talent exchange that seeks to diversify the pool of movie and TV writers. Under the arrangement, The Black List will provide TNT and TBS five vetted scripts in various genres, and the networks can then decide to option the scripts or recommend the writers be hired by their series' show runners. "As we continue to expand the original programming lineups for TNT and TBS, it's important that we forge partnerships not only with established producers but also with fresh talent," said Michael Wright, president and head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies.
