Minnesota bill sponsors say timing is right for vouchers

Yesterday, two Minnesota lawmakers introduced school voucher legislation that would grant scholarships of up to $4,601 for Minneapolis and St. Paul families of four making $47,100 a year or less. The bill faces major opposition in the traditionally anti-voucher Legislature.
