Some urban elementaries outperform many of their suburban neighbors

Some urban Indianapolis elementary schools are outscoring many of their suburban and charter peers on statewide standardized tests, according to an Indianapolis Star analysis of state educational data. Indianapolis public high schools still fared poorly, however, with several charters netting the highest scores.
